110 Grill: Not Your Typical Chain Restaurant

Though there are a few locations, 110 Grill isn’t your typical chain restaurant. Named after the road where it first opened five years ago in Chelmsford, MA , this New England spot operates as a “scratch kitchen.” Chefs in the nearly 20 locations make everything on-site from scratch, rather than using mass-produced and frozen products.

One of the newest locations opened in Saugus in late December. Like the others, this location has a large horseshoe-shaped bar and an open kitchen. While the menu will change throughout the year to incorporate local, seasonal ingredients, winter food specials include chili and meatball sliders. Gluten-free visitors will be happy to know that all of the dishes on the core lunch and dinner menus can be made gluten-free. In fact, 110 Grill has been lauded as one of the most allergy-friendly chains by the online guide Allergy Eats.
